Toma completed her post-graduation from a local college and focused on social service instead of chasing jobs. She tutors local children to meet her expenses. She has no car, she travels by rickshaw or auto-rickshaw. In the affidavit, she mentioned that she has no bank loan and immovable property means a piece of land obtained through inheritance. Young voters of the area are excited to get such a candidate.

Replying to questions from journalists, Toma said, "Politics has now gone into the hands of the wealthy. I want to show that people can be served even without money. My capital is honesty and people's love." She promised to work for the development of the education and health sectors of the area if elected.
