Gold Prices Hit New Record: Milestone Reached at 2.25 Lakh per Bhori

Gold prices have made history once again in the domestic market. The price of this precious metal has reached a new high, increasing by 2,216 BDT per bhori. According to the decision of the Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS), the new rates are effective from today, Monday.

Reasons for the LeapBAJUS announced that the price adjustment was due to the rise in the price of pure gold in the local market. The change follows international market trends and domestic demand-supply contexts.

New Price Tiers22-carat gold will now cost 2,24,940 BDT per bhori. 21-carat gold is priced at 2,14,734 BDT, and 18-carat gold will sell for 1,84,058 BDT per bhori. Traditional gold is now 1,53,323 BDT.
